On Dec. 10, 2015 the 52.58 D color internally flawless Golconda diamond sold for an impressive $10.9 million at an auction at Christie’s New York.
At the $207,600.00 per carat price, the sale was close to the $9.5 million–$12.5 million it was estimated to sell for.
The diamond sold to an anonymous buyer.
