Jennifer has roots in Northern Europe, but her interest in beauty was nurtured in Italy and Spain. Her parents, part of the first Bohemians, surrounded themselves with writers, painters, and sculptors, in an elegant, creative environment that inspired her to fall in love with making art.
As a child her passion lay in observing nature, collecting butterflies which were meticulously arranged under glass. Her introduction to jewelry making began in high school, and her love of the craft sent her on a journey to London England. There, at a trade school, through the City and Guilds of London and their exceptional museums, she refined her aesthetic and her skills in the metal arts. Other educational sojourns resulted in an MFA in metals from Long Beach State.
In Santa Barbara she started winning some of her many design awards, moving in a circle of other talented jewelry designers, among which was Gregore, her husband. Today they make an inspired jewelry design team.
“The art of jewelry is a personal, intimate experience that touches others through its expression of universal values. My goal is to create beautiful forms with rare materials to inspire wonder and joy in the viewer.”
